Finance and Revenue Service

The department of  Finance and Revenue a responsible for ensuring that all public funds are properly collected, recorded, safeguarded, and used in accordance with the law—guided in Kenya by the Public Finance Management Act and the County Governments Act.

Mandate/Role

  1. Completed accounting tasks such as contributing to financial reports, calculating payroll for casuals, and entering financial data,
  2. Processing accounts payable invoices and payments in an accurate and timely Manner,
  3. Proactively managing the ordering, purchasing and distribution of stationery, office and kitchen supplies and
  4. Drew up payment voucher for all expenditures and income and ensuring proper Authorization of form
  5. Most importantly Maintain imprest account and seek replenishment as and when needed.
